Water-free two-component polyurethane-epoxy parquet adhesive, especially for gluing wooden floors on cement-based substrates or on pre-existing floors (tiles, marble, wooden floors, etc.).

For semi-elastic parquet bonding directly to concrete, screed, anhydrite, fermacell boards, and wood. Can also be used without underlay on degreased ceramic tiles or marble.

Special properties: the combination of permanent flexibility, long open time (120 min) and high bonding strength makes Devo Glue PU 500 2C a technically advanced product. It is a very good all-round adhesive, applicable in the most critical situations.

Instructions for use

Substrate preparation: the substrate must be clean, dry, grease-free and free from loose particles. Always check the moisture content of the substrate and wood with appropriate instruments (max. permissible moisture content of cement screeds, 2 % measured with the carburemeter, 1.5 % for cement screeds with floor heating, and on anhydrite 0.5 %). The moisture measurement of the substrate must be carried out at least 2 to 3 cm deep with the carburemeter. Do not glue on screeds that are not protected against rising damp. A vapour-proof foil must always be installed. Pre-treat dusty or silty screeds with Devo Primer PA400 or Devo Primer Express PU, screeds with too high a residual moisture content with Devo Primer HE and tile floors with Devo Primer Hydroblock. Product preparation: bring the product to room temperature before use. First stir the hardener (comp B), then add to the bucket (comp A). Mix with a hand blender for several minutes.

Application: use the appropriate glue comb depending on the substrate and the parquet to be installed. Work in strips no wider than 60-80 cm. Apply a quantity of glue and spread with a glue comb. Always keep the comb straight during gluing. This allows you to transfer the profile of the glue teeth to the floor in an even glue bed. The comb should always "scrape" well, there should be no glue on the substrate between the glue beads. Do not apply more adhesive to the substrate than you can cover with parquet in 60 min.

Pot life: 120 min.

Drying time: can be walked on after 12 to 24h depending on environmental conditions (humidity and temperature).

Finish: after complete curing.

Full cure time: 72 hours.

Processing temperature: 10 - 30°C.

Consumption: 1000 - 1400 gr/m².

Tool cleaning: uncured product: Devo PU Cleaner or Devo Wet Wipes. Cured product: mechanically with spatula and/or scouring pad.

Shelf life: minimum 12 months in the original, well-sealed packaging. Storage temperature between 5 and 25°C.

Waste: dispose of residues and empty containers according to local authority regulations.
