Hygro-curing, expanding injection adhesive for parquet repair.

For the repair bonding of all parquet types that do not adhere well to the substrate locally (such as hollow-sounding places). Due to its unique, swelling properties, Devo Injection Glue occupies the open space under the loose parquet. Inject every 10 to 15 cm to treat larger loose boards.

Tip: Low product temperature increases viscosity and makes injection more difficult. Product at room temperature 20 to 25°C processes more easily.

Substrate preparation: the substrate and wood must be dry! Drill a 4-mm hole (for the provided injection nozzle). For injecting with a syringe, drill a hole proportionally, but just large enough so that the product can be injected under pressure without coming back up. Before drilling, apply masking tape to the area to be treated so that the parquet cannot be soiled by product coming back out of the hole.

Product preparation: bring the product to room temperature before use. Devo Injection Glue is ready to use with the spray nozzle provided. Before use with a syringe, drip a small amount into the syringe. The syringe cannot be reused as it hardens inside.

Application: 2 min before injecting the glue, inject 2 to 3 drops of water. Devo Injection Glue is a hygro-curing polyurethane resin, the reaction with moisture will further enhance its swelling properties. Do not inject an excessive amount of product, swelling may cause it to come back up along the hole or joints. Place a weight on the loose boards so that the expanding glue cannot push up the wood.

Drying time: walkable after 3 to 4 h depending on environmental conditions (humidity and temperature).

Full cure time: 12 to 24 hours

Processing temperature: 15 - 25 °C

Consumption: depending on use and quantity applied

Tool cleaning:

Uncured product: Devo PU Cleaner or Devo Wet Wipes.

Cured product: mechanically with spatula and/or scouring pad.

Shelf life: minimum 6 months in the original, well-sealed container. Storage temperature between 5 and 25°C. Store in a dry place! Higher humidity shortens the shelf life.

Waste: dispose of residues and empty containers according to local authority regulations.

Note: Close bottle tightly after use, as the product cures in reaction with humidity.
