Invisible parquet varnish

Extremely matt, non-fading, one-component wood and parquet varnish with high abrasion resistance. Based on sustainable, water-based biobased polyurethane.

Lignum Pura is mainly used for invisible, abrasion-resistant and low-maintenance finishing of parquet floors, but due to its exceptional natural effect also lends itself to many other decorative wood finishes (e.g. doors, furniture, etc.) where the natural character of the wood must be preserved.

Surface preparation: surface must be clean, dry, dedusted and free of grease, floor polish and oil.

Product preparation: shake and stir well before use.

Application: with short-haired varnish/varnish roller, brush or spray gun.

Varnish roller or brush: always work in strips of maximum 60-80 cm wide. First with a brush the edges, then with a roller first crosswise to the grain, then roll out evenly lengthwise. Let the strips flow into each other. Apply 2 to 3 layers depending on use and desired wear resistance. For floors, we always recommend 3 layers.

Airless: nozzle: 0.2 - 0.3; pressure: 80 - 120 bar.

Airless: nozzle: 1 - 2 mm; pressure: 2 - 3 bar.

Drying time: dust-dry after 1 hour and walkable and recoatable after 2 to 3 hours depending on environmental conditions (air humidity and temperature).

Finishing: after 2 to 3 hours. Before the final coat, sand the surface smooth with 220-grit paper.

Full curing time: 2 - 3 days. Light load-bearing after 12 hours.

Processing temperature: do not process at temperatures below 12°C or above 25°C.

Consumption: 10 - 12 m²/L per coat.

Dry film thickness: 20-30 µm.

Tool cleaning: with water.

Maintenance: from 2 weeks after finishing: with DevoNatural Soft Cleaner.

Shelf life: in well-closed original packaging at least 1 year. Store frost-free and protect from high temperatures.
