Highly abrasion-resistant 2-component water-based parquet varnish based on polyurethane-acrylate.

Extremely suitable for the treatment of wooden floors that are intensively walked on and must have a natural appearance! Its high wear resistance and easy maintenance make this matt parquet varnish ideal for contemporary application on residential and commercial floors. Can also be used indoors on wooden doors, furniture, worktops, ceilings, etc.

Special properties: UV-resistant (non-yellowing), low odour, easy to apply, high resistance to scratching and most chemical cleaning agents, VOC-compliant, safe to use, non-toxic and non-flammable, NMP-free. The combination of hardness and elasticity guarantees a particularly long service life and high wear resistance.

Substrate preparation: the substrate must be clean, dry, grease-free and dedusted.

Product preparation: mix DevoNatural Transit A with B at room temperature. While continuously stirring component A, slowly add hardener B (1 part hardener B per 10 parts component A.) After complete mixing, continue stirring for 30 seconds. Then let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes before use.

Application: with brush or roller. First crosswise and then with the grain. Work "wet in wet" and allow the application strips to flow into each other. For larger surfaces, work with several persons in order to always obtain a wet flow of the brush or roller strips. Avoid direct air flow and direct sunlight on the application area. Apply in 2 to 3 layers, depending on the desired abrasion resistance and protection.

Pot life: 2 hours.

Drying time: 2 - 4 hours.

Finish: after approx. 6 hours, sanding by machine or manually. The first coat with gauze sanding pad grit 120. Between the 2nd and 3rd coat with gauze sanding pad grit 220.

Can be walked over: after 5 hours.

Full curing time: 5 to 6 days. Although the floor may be walked on after 5 hours, it is recommended to spare the floor during the first week. It is recommended not to lay carpets or other floor covering or to walk intensively on the floor during this period. Do not clean with water or detergents during the first month.

Processing temperature: during application of the mixed product, the temperature should not be lower than 13°C. The best results are obtained if DevoNatural Transit is used at a temperature of approx. 20°C at 50% Relative humidity.

Consumption: 10 - 12 m²/L for the first coat, 12 - 15 m²/L for the second and third coat, 2 to 3 coats depending on use and desired abrasion resistance.

Tool cleaning: with water.

Maintenance: from 4 weeks after finishing with DevoNatural Soft Cleaner and DevoNatural Polish. See also the DevoNatural maintenance sheet for varnished floors.

Shelf life: 1 year in original closed packaging. Store frost-free in a cool place.

Waste: dispose of residues and empty packaging according to local authority regulations.

EU limit value for this product (cat A/j) : 140 g/l (2010). This product contains max 112 g/l VOC.
