Extremely fast-drying, water- and solvent-free PU primer for fixing dusty screeds and as insulation against residual moisture.

For quick fixing of dusty screeds, as adhesion primer on e.g. screeds with underfloor heating and as insulation against residual moisture.

Special properties: Devo Primer Express PU is exceptionally fast-drying. Parquet bonding can be started after only 40 minutes!

Technical note: Use only compatible Devo Glue PU 300 1C, Devo Glue PU 570 2C, Devo Glue PU 650 2C, Devo Glue MSP 150 1C, Devo Glue MSP 200 1C and Devo Glue MSP 250 1C.

Instructions for use

Substrate preparation: always carry out a moisture measurement first with the appropriate devices (max. permissible moisture content of cement screeds, 6 % measured with the carburettor meter, 3 % for cement screeds with underfloor heating, and on anhydrite 0.5 %, also with underfloor heating). The substrate must be clean, dry, grease-free and free of loose particles. All imperfections such as cracks and fissures must be repaired beforehand by making a paste of Devo Primer Express PU or another Devo Primer mixed with fine dry sand. Product preparation: Devo Primer Express PU is ready for use. Always bring the product to room temperature +/- 20°C before use.

Application: at 15-20°C and max. 75% RLV. Deviating conditions may influence the result and curing time.

For reinforcement and fixation: apply 1 even layer with roller or brush.

As insulation layer against residual moisture: 2 to 3 hours after application of the first layer, apply a second layer crosswise on top of the first layer. (Never leave more than 24 hours between the first and second coat!) In order to obtain optimal adhesion of the parquet to be bonded, Devo Primer Express PU can be scattered with dry quartz sand grit 1.0 or 1.2 immediately after application of the second coat (average consumption 200 to 300 G/m²). After drying, brush and vacuum the surface to remove particles that have not adhered.

Pot life: 1 - 3 hours (depending on humidity and temperature.)

Drying time:

1 coat: in optimal conditions, you can already start gluing parquet 40 - 60 min after applying Devo Primer Express PU. Optimal adhesion when glued within 24 hours.

2 layers: parquet can be installed after sufficient drying, depending on the environmental conditions.

Bonding: after sufficient drying with the compatible Devo Glue PU 300 1C, Devo Glue PU 570 2C, Devo Glue PU 650 2C, Devo Glue MSP 150 1C, Devo Glue MSP 200 1C and Devo Glue MSP 250 1C.

Full curing time: 24 hours.

Processing temperature: 10 - 25°C.

Consumption: 200 - 400 G/m² or 2 - 5 m²/L.

Tool cleaning: uncured product residues with Devo PU Cleaner. After curing, only remove mechanically.

Shelf life: 1 year in original closed packaging. Store frost-free and dry.

Waste: dispose of residues and empty packaging according to local authority regulations.
