Traditional, solvent-based wood sealer for tropical woods, traditional parquet floors, difficult to treat surfaces and as an undercoat for DevoNatural Solid Wax.

Use as a wood primer for tropical woods such as merbau, jatoba, wenge, etc. Gives a colour deepening to the wood (honey colour) and is therefore also used as a primer on traditional parquet floors and as an undercoat for DevoNatural Solid Wax. Makes no deposits during application, is used to treat delicate surfaces.

• Suitable for treating tropical woods that require a solvent primer;
• Strong penetrating power;
• Can be finished with DevoNatural Coat and all water-based DevoNatural lacquers.

Surface preparation: the surface must be clean, dry, dedusted and free of grease, floor polish and oil.

Product preparation: shake and stir well before use.

Application: with wax applicator, brush or cloths. DevoNatural Seal is a saturation product and should therefore be rubbed in. Do not coat with a varnish roller. With pressure sprayer: approx. 3.5 atm. Spray opening: 1.5 mm.

Finish: after 12 hours, de-gloss with rotary machine and thin black pad or manually before further finishing.

Floodable: after 3 - 5 hours.

Full curing time: 7 days.

Processing temperature: do not process at temperatures below 10°C or above 25°C.

Consumption: 8 - 10 m²/L per coat, 1-2 coats.

Tool cleaning: with solvent.

Shelf life: in unopened, tightly closed packaging at least 1 year. Store frost-free and protect from high temperatures.
