For abrasion-resistant and transparent "polymers" or "polishes" with Devo Gloss.
Purpose:for wear-resistant and transparent "polymers" or "polishes" with Devo Gloss.
Application on: calciferous floors, such as marble, travertine, Burgundy leidal, honed bluestone, terrazzo, etc.
Untreated/newly laid floors:
- If necessary, remove cement residue.
- If no cement residue, clean with Devo Strongclean.
- If unevenness (burrs, etc.), first saturate the floor with water! Then wet sand the floor with the Devoboy machine + waterproof sanding discs. Sand with fine grains 120, 220 and 400. Clean the floor with the Devo rinsing and suction machine.
- For pore filling in depth, it is recommended to treat the floor with Devo Marble Renewer.
Treated/previously laid floors:
- If the floor was treated with a protective layer, remove it first with the designated Devo stripper! Paint and varnish: use Devo Varnish Strip. Acrylic polymers and polish: use Devo Polymstrip. Glue carpet and PVC remnants: use Devo Gluestrip.
- If no Devo stripper is applicable, scrub the floor thoroughly with Devo Strongclean.
- If small bumps (burrs, etc.), wet sand the floor with the Devoboy machine + drive plate + waterproof sanding discs.
- Sand with fine grits 120, 220 and 400. Clean the floor with the Devo rinse and vacuum machine.
Follow-up steps:
- When the floor is completely dry apply the ready-to-use Devo Gloss thinly and evenly with a wax applicator (mop). Do not rub in! Devo Gloss is a self-gloss wax and dries without streaks. Dry after about 1 hour at room temperature. Then apply a second coat crosswise. After drying, the gloss level can be increased/restored by polishing the floor with the Devoboy machine + white pad.
- Periodic maintenance: Devo Dry Clean Set and Devo Gloss dilution for mop cleaning.
