Removal of adhesive, carpet and PVC residues.

Purpose: removal of adhesive , carpet and PVC residues.

Application to: chape floors = cement screed + subfloors that are being refaced (e.g., carpet, vinyl, etc.).

Dry mechanical solution

• For manual stripping: cut the floor covering with a Stanley knife into strips of ±50cm.
• For mechanical stripping with the Devo stripper machine: cut the floor covering into strips of ±30cm.
• Scrape away stubborn residue dry with the Devoboy machine + steel brush.
• Dry dusting and if necessary sanding with sanding disc grain 24.
• Dry dusting. Level if necessary.

Application of Devo Gluestrip

• Paste the carpet residue + adhesive with Devo Gluestrip. Allow the product to soak in for 20 minutes to 1 hour. Then remove the loosened paste with a scraper.
• Repeat the treatment if necessary.
• After drying, remove the last residues with sanding disc grit 24.
• Detergent. Smoothen if necessary.
